need were fed and helped with food
supplies. Lions Club International regularly
helps in disaster relief worldwide. Supplied
emergencies information bottles to several
local vulnerable and elderly people, which
would assist the medical professionals give
more rapid treatment. Helped the
environment with planting of 20 trees.
Member took part in various marathons and
walks adding to our charity funds. Children
and carers had a day of joyful relief with a
party. Similarly some 800 senior citizens had
an uplifting party held jointly by Lions clubs
in the District. Helped Mayor of Redbridge
raise funds for his charities including mental
health. 150 eye operations in rural India
helped restore key family members to full
function. Distribution of covid masks.
Supplied sleeping bags, care packs and
meals to the homeless.
