ELKOLET BENEVOLENT FOUNDATION is incorporated for the purposes of managing, administration, organising fundraising, receiving & disbursing donations, partnering with commercial companies and those which are subsidiary companies owned by Knowles Industries (UK) Limited the corporate owner of ELKOLET BENEVOLENT FOUNDATION and facilitating ELKOLET with its purposes, objectives, main activities, achievements, and performance.

Purposes & Objectives
ELKOLET BENEVOLENT FOUNDATION ( EBF ) is to advance the education and personal development of the public in particular young people, whom have been or on the edge of being disengaged from mainstream schools, who, due to personal circumstances, find it difficult to cope in mainstream education; provide and facilitate family support initiatives for parents and guardians during the young person’s educational journey; supporting families during the school term breaks with food supplies through the Youth Today Food Kits initiative all with a holistic approach.
Main Activities
Family Support Services :-
Providing an integral part during the young person’s and family’s educational journey. Providing not only the whole family of a learner attending ELKOLET’S Alternative Education Provision (The King’s Way “ TKW ”) but to other families within the communities EBF operates in.
After-School :-
Making available after-school youth facilities, holiday drop-in sessions and education tutoring all coming online for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.

Youth Today Food Kits :-
ELKOLET Benevolent Foundation partnered with its affiliate ELKOLET who work with two (2) partnering commercial companies where ELKOLET Benevolent Foundation and ELKOLET provide Food Kits to families during the school term breaks. Each Kit has sufficient supplies for seven (7) breakfasts and seven (7) lunches. ELKOLET Benevolent Foundation and ELKOLET work with the schools to find those families that are in need during the school term breaks.
The Trustees can confirm they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.
Section D: Achievements and performance
Family Support Services –

Achievements - Supported one hundred and ten (110) families throughout the Alton Cluster. Increased the Family Support team.

Performance - The Family Support Team successfully meet the needs of thirty-two (32) cases enabling the families to move forward without further support. ELKOLET Benevolent Foundation and the ELKOLET Group of Entities successfully networked with several local charities and agencies in order to meet the needs of young people and families throughout Hampshire.
After-School :-

Achievements - Successful meetings and strategic planning for the 2022 – 2023 academic year launch and interviews with potential supporting qualified staffing.

Performance - The performance will be reflected within the 2021 – 2022 Annual Report.
Youth Today Food Kits :-
Achievements - Delivered over two thousand (2,000) Food Kits within the year.
- Performance - Steady team of between ten (10) to fifteen (15) community volunteers. Partnering with one local School who brings between forty (40) to sixty (60) student volunteers and two (2) corporate partners.

ELKOLET Benevolent Foundation aims to keep approximately three months running costs in reserves.
