The Areti Charitable Trust makes grants in order to give disadvantaged children/young people opportunities to experience and learn more about the natural world.
Objects: To Advance In Life And Help Young People, Especially But Not Exclusively Those Living In The Administrative Area Covered By Lancaster City Council, Through:(a) The Provision And/ Or Facilitation Of Recreational Leisure Activities Provided In The Interests Of Social Welfare Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life, Especially But Not Exclusively Those Who Have Need By Reason Of Their Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social Or Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life For Such Persons;(b) The Provision And/ Or Facilitation Of Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals;(c) Advancement Of Their Education In The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment.
