Summary
ofthe main
achievements
ofthe charity
during the year
In the Teesside 500Group's
third year as a charity, we have restored
Volvo Olympian
M223SVN into the Cleveland
Transit green livery it wore
when new in 1995.Although
our second Volvo Olympian,
R833OVN still
awaits restoration, a replacement
engine was purchased
during the year.
Regrettably
our participation
at a full programme
ofattendance
at histor'ic
vehicle rallies and other events was curtailed due to Covid-19, as was
most ofour support to local history and cultural tours.
Nonetheless
we have also continued
to develop
links with local museums
and other local transport
history charities for the purpose ofdeveloping
an archive of historic material.
