We seek to redistribute any spare lunds bxk to membw dub6 by keeping fee8 low and via the introduction of avards during the season. All Commlttee members volunteef their twne to enable the Lwue to run snx)othty. Achlevements and Performanco Th8 League now wovkJ88 football all the age groups. In the n(XHPtIt1ye agg groupB, the League ran festNals for U7. league games for U7 to U8 and league and cup games for U9 to U11. For th8 competitiv 8ge groups the League provbjed Leagues and cups for U12 to U18. Also, in li wrth the FA apwoved policy, the League conlinues to allow Girts leams to a year to enable player development. Thls option was tsken up by over 80 all Girb teams. This was to help managers in the transition to completing matchday retur for fdknymng seasfm. The league ha$ Continued to bok to ganISe and run courses for the benefft of its member dubs, bJl this has not been as successful a5 in wevths years. In this arena rt continues to work closely with the Essex FA. 8 in the previous seasons the League (N)UeS to fund SwxtSm1p and Referee Award$ and introduced a new Club Admin Award.

Here Clubs each have their (m &lmin portal where they manage their Club data and the League also has an admin Ixylal to cover all the League Imin. There have again been some negatives during the season. Financial Review Wtlh the year-end ending one month before the end of the season, the aco)unts income and costs are not truky representative oflhe league season [1. This was discussed at a Trustees meeting where oposal to change the year end date to 30 June was subrnitt and agreed. This 18 sutyect to ratification by the Charities Commission. A new incorne elernent in the sea80n the wrtroduction of a New £50 Member Club kx)Thl. This wa8 intrcrtluced due to prior season issues wrth new clubs. As this is repayable rt is claSsrf as restricted. As there has been limited requests from Memter Clubs to utilise the r8stricted CYFL fund this fund pot has been the subject of Trustee reviews and a pLan has tN8en for implementation from next 8ea80n. This will need to be ratifd by the League manag8Thrt Committee at the slart of next season. The League continues to have a 9j rewrt8kn( with existing member Clubs and continues to attract nv members. From an income per$tive this W to an inmse of 12% in team numbers. This in tum drove 42% increase in the mberShP fee income to £37.8k. Cc4)tinuing poor admin by many team managers increased the fines to £4.5k with Cup Finals att8rKlance addiw an addrtKxwI £4.2k. Other income wa8 bank interest £0.9k and £0.9 for Bonds. Due to the demand on vclunteer ts'me and the lo918tk8 of multlplo divi581 cup the decith was taken by the Managemerrt C(Mnmittee to onty run bi4Msional cup finals. This resutted in kxier costs than expected with only £17.4k being Spent for the 34 Cup Finals. These ran over a 44ak perlod across 3 main sites. Costs for League trophies and the U11 Trophy Event £8.8k. The upgrade to the Festival book¥ website went ahead and so far £4k has been spent. Further costs are expected for the fdlchving year as the system enhancement has been fflcye difficult to Implement than expected.
