Bank balances are not seen as reserves as any opening balance will be utilised for further grants to aid communities in Uganda and not help for long periods of over a few months.

Primarily Funds come from fundraising at local community events and social media for wider donations.

The risk of abuse of funds is present in the work that we do, this is mitigated by the dual authorisation of funds via a trusted source. Our Ugandan links have set up a community account with the Finance Trust Bank Uganda. Community groups are expected to make group decisions on how they feel funds should be utilised for the benefit of their wider communities.
