Section D Achievements and performance This &ademic year there were 393 registered puiiils Numbers went up slightly due to the dosure of another school which was based nearby. Following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine members of the schooi were encouraged to contribute to bona fide organisations eg collections organised by the Polish Educational Soaety. Instigated by parents a c￿le(lI0n was organised for Gregorian masses for one of our long serling teachers who lost her lrfe to Covid 19. The school suppx>rted Police Cadets recrurtment- pupils were able to talk to current cadets to see if thi8 was something that they may bo interested in. A trip was organised for the pupils to Laxlon Hall for Childrens day. Online training for teachers was organised by Polish Educational Society to promote Polish language learning through games and play. Examinats'on eentres were once again allowed to hold GCSE and AL exams on their premises. Dewte the disrupts'on in study due to the Covid 19 pandemic. 21 puyls from our school sat the GCSE exam and 4 sat the AL exarn. TAR March 2012
