Activities
The Charity operates a Community Garden/Allotment for local residents. It provides a range of activities designed to engage 'All' members of the community. Its main activities are to continue to 'transform' some derelict land into a community space, plant flowers, trees and vegetables, repair and build footpaths/walling, provide ongoing development and maintenance and run celebration events.
Objects: To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Social Welfare And Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupations Of Individuals, Residing In Thornton Village And Neighbouring Districts Of Bradford, Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability Or Financial Circumstances Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life In Particular Through Facilitation Of A Community Garden, Growing And Volunteering Project
