Para 1.17 | The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit amongst street children in the Diocese of Njombe, South West Tanganyika, Tanzania, between the ages of 0 to 18 who are socially excluded by providing them with an opportunity to build capacity by establishing and growing an orphanage to relieve the needs of those children and assist them integrate into society. The promotion for the benefit of the public of rural regeneration in the in the area of Njombe by means outlined in the constitution. |

One replied saying they would considered offering Luhuvilo a grant for transport next year, 2025. Furthermore, we are in conversation with an AIDS foundation who are considering offering Luhuvilo a grant as Njombe has the highest AIDS incidence in Tanzania. |

Para 1.20 | The Director, Rev’d Nicola Teverson, and Trustee Donna Stewart visited the site in October 2023 and Rev’d Nicola with Trustee Lynette Llalero in April 2024. The Managers House and Orphanage are complete including playground, cowshed, outside kitchen and fence and gate all finished in the last 12 months. Despite applying for a license as outlined in the Law of the Child 2002 that states this should only take 90 days we wait a year later. Officials have visited the home and verbally have praised the standard and agreed to its opening as a home for street children, however, we have not received official paperwork. Rev’d Nicola and Trustee David Laing are visiting Njombe at the end of October 2024 to work with our partners in the Diocese of Soth West Tanganyika to resolve the issue. |

Para 1.21 | See financial report The charity’s income for the financial year was £5,456 (£2,242 - 2022) an increase of 146%. The main sources of funding were donations- £3,759 (2022- £1,447), events - £1.056 (2022 - £554) and other £632 (2022 - £241). Expenditure was £8,362 (2022 - £17,066). Much of previous year expenditure went into the orphanage building in Tanzania. In the current year the expenditure was on getting the place ready for the license inspection. Trustees are focusing their efforts on raising funds and build reserves to run the orphanage for when the children are on site. |

On the Luhuvilo site we are buying three cows, growing vegetables, chickens for eggs and meat. Sponsorship of the children will come from our links with UK schools and individuals. |
