One<br>replied saying they would considered<br>offering Luhuvilo a grant for transport next<br>year, 2025. Furthermore, we are in<br>conversation with an AIDS foundation who<br>are considering offering Luhuvilo a grant as<br>Njombe has the highest AIDS incidence in<br>Tanzania.|

The Managers<br>House and Orphanage are complete<br>including playground, cowshed, outside<br>kitchen and fence and gate all finished in the<br>last 12 months.<br>Despite applying for a license as outlined in<br>the Law of the Child 2002 that states this<br>should only take 90 days we wait a year<br>later. Officials have visited the home and<br>verbally have praised the standard and<br>agreed to its opening as a home for street<br>children, however, we have not received<br>official paperwork.<br>Rev’d Nicola and Trustee David Laing are<br>visiting Njombe at the end of October 2024<br>to work with our partners in the Diocese of<br>Soth West Tanganyika to resolve the issue.|

The main sources of funding were<br>donations- £3,759 (2022- £1,447), events -<br>£1.056 (2022 - £554) and other £632 (2022 -<br>£241). Expenditure was £8,362 (2022 -<br>£17,066). Much of previous year expenditure<br>went into the orphanage building in<br>Tanzania. In the current year the<br>expenditure was on getting the place ready<br>for the license inspection.<br>Trustees are focusing their efforts on raising<br>funds and build reserves to run the<br>orphanage for when the children are on site.|
