For the benefit of the inhabitants of Winchester and its surrounding and neighbouring Districts, to assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Fundraising to enable the replacement of the decrepit and no longer fit for purpose summer-only cricket pavilion serving the two communityaccess cricket pitches in Winchester’s North Walls Recreation Ground with the year-round multi-sport pavilion designed for us pro bono by the Winchester architectural practice AR Design Studio.

The benefits of the charity’s work, both to the new pavilion’s users and to Summary of the main wider Hampshire society, will only come about when we reach our achievements of the charity fundraising target, targeting 2021 for construction to start in the same during the year year.
