STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT NCI Community Association CIO (the charity) is an incorporated entity governed under a Constitution of a Charitsble Incorporated Organisation. The Trustee5 are re5ponsibl¢ for the overa]I management and control of NCI Commlmity Association CIO and hold regular meetsng5. All Trustees give their lime freely and no remunerdtion paid during the ye8r. ORGANISATION AND APPOtNTMENT OF TRUSTEES The charity is run by the Trusttts. The Trustees are made of full members of the OaniSation. elected annually at the Annual General Meeting. RISK MANAGEMENr The Trustees are responsible for th¢ ov¢rs¢¢ing of the risks faced by the chartty. Risks are identified, assessed and controls cstablished throughout the year. The Trustees b¢li¢vc that the adopted appmach of close monitoring of the operations. St&Illg and finan¢¢s of the Charity will mitigate the significant risks. Ln addition, the charity has fiwther policies place to cover all major business risks which are reviewed annually. FINANCIAL REVIEW AND RESERVES The financial Tesults for the year ended 315t March 2021 show an overdll surplu5 on unr¢5tricted r¢5erve5 of £8789 {2020.' unrestricted deficit of £20599). ACHIEVEMEwfs AND PERFORMANCE The year ending 3 1st March 2021 has been very difficulL as the Centre has been closed (due to Covid regulations) for a large part of the year and 50 income from lettings. hire and games has been minitnal. The Trustees have continued with the refurbishment of the premises including the wmplete renovation of all toilet facilities. With the end of lockdown, the Truste¢5 and staff are working hard to publicise the availability of the Centr¢ io local group5 and io develop the community use of the NCI premises in 2021 and beyond. There has been a ¢urnover in the membership of the Management Committee that runs the NCI CIO. with new active Trustees joining who have brought new areas of expertise.
