London Charitable
Trust (SLCT)carries out its purpose
by supporting
existing charities that meet the charitable
objective. The
board oftrustees exercise their discretion
when assessing
formal
applications
from existing charities,
considering
which applicants
best
further the SLCT objectives
giving the greatest
public benefit and
consideding
the effectiveness
ofthe project.

A further grant was awarded
to the Princess Alexandra
Hospital
Trust
The grant contributed
to the cost ofresearch nurses to perform
vital
clinical trials within the Breast Cancer unit and provided
patients
with
access to complimentary
therapies
not otherwise
available
on the NHS.
