giving the greatest

on supporting

|activities|undertaken||for|the|charities that share the same ethos to further the purpose
ofthe SLCT,|

discussions
and planning
with Teens Unite focused upon a|
|this section||the statutory|||Respite Centre for Teenagers
with Cancer offering activities and a|
|declaration||that trustees||have|homely
environment
for young cancer patients to share similar situations,|
|had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission

young people to build strength
and confidence
from sharing
experiences
with others. This project will welcome
all young
people
suffering
with cancer regardless
of personal
background,
gender,
faith or|

Whilst this project remains a focus for the SLCT,|
||||||legal hurdles
concerning
the purchase
ofthe land and subsequent|
||||||planning
application,
has meant that this project has experienced|
||||||significant
delays.|
||||||A further grant was awarded
to the Princess Alexandra
Hospital
Trust|
||||||The grant contributed
to the cost ofresearch nurses to perform
vital|
||||||clinical trials within the Breast Cancer unit and provided
patients
with|
||||||access to complimentary
therapies
not otherwise
available
on the NHS.|
