Description of the charity’s trusts CIO – Association Registered 02.08.2017 – Amended 28.01.2020 Type of governing document Charitable Incorporated Organisation How the charity is constituted Original members of trustee appointed by Ben Banks founder of KOAC, additional Trustee selection methods members proposed to committee and unanimously voted on to the board of trustees. KOAC currently consists of 7 trustees, the roles currently held are as follows: Additional governance issues Chairman – Ben Banks Secretary – Lucie Banks Treasurer – Daniel Bowen The titles of these do not give them any further voting rights or powers over any other member. All voting rights are equal amongst members. All voting including what constitutes a majority and how many votes are needed to pass a motion can be found in the charities governing document.

Section C Objectives and activities
KOAC has not been as active as it would have liked due to circumstance change in the trustee’s availability.
No active fund raising as undertaken during the period, however, we have still managed to help some people and will continue to do so whilst we have the funds to do so.

The board of Trustees unanimously voted to amend our policy and to increase our reserve holding to £1,500 on 17thOctober 2020. This was forecasted to be the running cost of the charity for a year. |

NOTE.The COVID-19 pandemic also resulted in an increase in the amount of money the charity is currently holding as lockdown has resulted in limited opportunities to send families on experiences, this will be reviewed ongoingly as and when there are updates with thepandemic. |

Kicking Off Against Cancer has struggled to maintain its activity due to trustee’s commitments away from the charity, leading to discussions on whether the charity should continue, this discussion has moved in to 2023/24 and will be reflected in next years report.
