and the public in general.
2. Set up learning classes and language support to
promote the teaching of moderate Islamic views
3. Render social service by providing advice and
support to community members who might not
otherwise get the help they need from the relevant
authorities whenever possible.
4. Organise workshops and activities to raise
awareness among the community members, in
particular, the young people of other faiths and the
impact of anti-social behaviour to help them
integrate into the wider society in an atmosphere of
self-confidence.
Summary of the
main activities in
relation to those
purposes for the
public benefit, in
particular, the
activities, projects or
services identified in
the accounts.
Para 1.17 and
1.19
NSIC has ambitious objectives to achieve, and the
organisation is slowly developing. The organisation
is planning to raise sufficient funds to enable the
acquisition or rent of a space which will be used for
key activities, such as prayer space, community
gathering for social events, after-school classes,
and support.
The group was able to lease a place to carry out
some activities, including social gatherings,
children's activities such as learning support etc.
This year we have more members who committed to
continuous financial support, and this will help NSIC
to commence it is activities.
Statement
confirming whether
the trustees have
had regard to the
guidance issued by
the Charity
Commission on
public benefit
Para 1.18 NSIC relies on its member’s financial contributions
and any donations from the general public. A
financial management and internal control policy
and procedures were developed last year which will
help regulate the operation of the charity finance.
NISC has formed a financial committee which
manages and controls the organisation's finances
based on the guidance issued by the commission.
