Para 1.20 | The main achievement of the Trust during 2023/24 was continuing to operate despite exceedingly tough economic circumstances as a result of cost of living increases and inflation. Careful budgeting of expenditure allowed us to maintain, heat and keep the Hall open as usual despite increases in utility and service charges. We have continued to attract new groups and organisations offering communal, social activities. We have hosted various community events including Sunday Lunches, Quiz and Bingo nights, Karaoke, Stogursey Summer Fete, the Annual Flower Show and Car Boot Sales to help raising funds For the third year running we have staged a production of Somerset Opera and hosted Bridgwater Carnival events. |
