GOVERNING DOCUMENT

The charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) is governed by its Constitution dated 5 July 2017.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The object of the CIO is to promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision of a sports pavilion and associated sports fields in Thornton Dale for the use of the cricket club, football club and other clubs capable of promoting healthy recreation.

ACTIVITIES

Each year a Spring Gala is held to raise money for the CIO. The Trustees believe there are sufficient funds in reserves to enable the Charity to continue maintaining the Pavilion and ground and supporting the local clubs that use the facilities for the foreseeable future.

The trustees of the CIO have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers or duties.
