Year End 31 March 2021 TRUSTEES, REPORT Objectives and A¢tlvltiès Camden Community Cenlres, Consortium continues to grow and develop in terms of the number of projects Ihal we are involved in, and our general influence and profile IhrDughoul the borough. Our members work collaboralivoly lo meet the needs of our diverse Communities, with many projects being created as a result of our form81ised consortium slrucluie. All member organisalions pay £500 per year membership fee, which helps increase engagement in and owllership of the consortium. Revlew of activities Community Impacts Fund Working wilh MIND in Camden, ReThink and eight C4 members, we have been delivering £200K worth of menlal-heallh projects across two years, which ale residenl-led and embedded in local communities. These projects will pilot and develop new approaches to Working with residents and create new partnerships belween cenlres and mental health charities, leading lo further funded work in the future. cu[n14Y a coproduclion project is being designed as the last stage of this funded work, slralegi¢ally bringing together various slalulory sector organisalions across health and social care, two mental health charities, and eight C4 members. lo design and implement new ways of working in partnership lo meet community needs. Camden Infrastructure Alliance In Mar¢h 2019 we were awarded £52K over two years, as part of the wider charty infrastructure fund by Camden Council. There are bNo strands to our work within the CIA. 1. Working with core and wider partners to improve charity infrastructure throughout Camden. 2. Bringing together C4 member organisalions with others within Neighbourhood areas, lo work more effectively in partnership wf£h and for our local communities This work continues. and is due lo be extended for a further year- April 202110 March 2022. The project has adapted Its the current challenges of the Covid-19 pandemi¢, enabling us lo provide additional support lo members, and lo work even more effectively in partnership with voluntary and stalulory sector colleagues. Rents and Leases consultatlon Throughout 2020 we participated in an ongoing consultation process with Camden Council. We have successfully now advocated for this process to be started again. with us involved from an earlier point in terms of design on the process, and taking lully into account the ¢hanges lo the sector, and also lo commercial property values in 2020. Other work in the Camden voluntary sector As well as the main projects outlined above. C4 Consortium members continue lo represent our interests on a wide vaiiely of boards and forums, and then less formally through relationship building with various slalulory sector co51eagues, and wf(h other voluntary and community sector organisalions. In 2020 all ol our members have had lo pivot their services and offer lo their local communities, and lo do this whilst income fell drastically. COVID C4 has conducted exceptional work across the borough, supporting Camden Council through the Covid- 19 palldemic. Our members and core team have been representing our sector al regular meetings, focusing on improving slalulory and voluntary sector partnership working lo support our communities in exceptional cir¢umslan¢es.
