Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
As this year was the second year marred by Covid restrictions we were unable to offer any face to face services but were still continuing to support our UK charities through offering a send away lab service via our volunteer laboratories, we have also added to this service by working with various dental clinics to facilitate additional dental treatments as and when required.
We have continued to raise awareness of our existence and the services that we are willing & able to offer through social media channels to the dental profession and homeless groups.
Our main achievements in this year were:
Working closely with other UK dental charities to complement the ‘dental pain clinics’ they operate within the UK by offering the services of volunteer laboratories who have made dentures for their homeless/poor patients free of charge via a postal system.
