The purpose of Scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials. as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The Group has undertaken Scouting activity for the benefit of young people in the Hallow area and surrounding villages to the west of Worcester. Activities of the Group are reported by the séction leaders to trustees in the Trustee and Leaders meetings that occur throughout the year. Section E Financial review The Group looks to use normal subscription income and fees to cover cost of camps to meet day to day running expenses of the Group. In addition, fund raising activity occurs, to build up funds to cover the longer-term maintenance of the Scout Hut. As the charity trustees of the 9th Worcester (Hallow) you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
