| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the 2024 cricket season the club has now got back to a more normal operation, the effect of the Covid lockdown caused significant problems and we were very grateful to the Government support given through West Suffolk Council during this difficult time. Without the support the charity would not have survived and been able to continue in the way it has. Cricket was played almost every day in some form from mid-April to mid- September. Many promising young cricketers have developed their talents during the year both outside and indoors by using the sports hall at the Victory Sports Ground. We are grateful to the support of senior volunteers who help with additional work on the ground and operating the facilities. |
