The cricket club had a very**<br>**good season of cricket with over 100**<br>**adult matches played and about 60**<br>**junior games. In addition cricket**<br>**coaching took place at least four**<br>**evenings a week during the 22 weeks of**<br>**the cricket season. In addition the club**<br>**encourages activity in the winter months**<br>**providing an indoor facility for children**<br>**and adults each week from January to**<br>**March. On Monday evenings club**<br>**coaches supported the national All Stars**<br>**(5-8 years) and Dynamos (9-11 years)**<br>**programme.**<br>**The community pavilion was used during**<br>**cricket and football matches, and**<br>**hospitality almost every Saturday and**<br>**most Sundays. During the week it has**<br>**been used extensively for sport and**<br>**community events. There has been**<br>**increased use of the pavilion to help**|

The clubs financial**<br>**accounts year end September 2022**<br>**showed a figure of £24,645 stated as**<br>**surplus against the outdoor nets appeal.**<br>**Further fund raising resulted in the cost**<br>**of the new facility being available when**<br>**the installation was completed.**<br>**Not only are the new outdoor nets a vast**<br>**improvement it provides a safe practice**<br>**area especially for disabled and young**<br>**persons.**|
