inca GARING ACCOUNTING where it's fflore than just the numbers Inca Accountsnts Ltd Central Office- Cobweb Buildings The Lane Lyford Oxon OX12 OEE 28, August 2024 To whorn it ¥OI Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of The Letcombe Brook Project, Charity Registration No. 1172111 I report on the account of The Letcombe Brook Project for the year end 31, March 2024, as attached to this letter. The charity's trustee5 are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirernents of the Charities Act 20111.the Act~l. The charitvs trustees consider that an audit is not required for thi5 year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent examination 15 needed. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the applicable Directlons given by the Charity Commission (under section 14515llbl of the Act, and to state whether particular matters have tome to my attention. My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination include5 3 review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or di5cIosLJres in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustee5 concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair, view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. The treasurer, togèther with the assistance of the deputy treasurer, prepare5 the accounts on a receipts/payment5 basis and these are reconciled with the bank statement on a monthly basis. Funds are held in a current account. In connection with my examination, no material rnatters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect.. accountin8 fecords were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act or the accounts do not 3ccord with the accounting records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
