The Trust amended its constitution to enable Functional Directors to
manage the work delegated to committees.

The objects of the Trust are to:

Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and
leisure time to improve conditions for residents.

Secure the future of Oakworth Village Hall through co-operation with
the local authority.

The Trust operated Oakworth Village Hall (Holden Hall) for the first quarter
of the period for the benefit of all residents with regular classes. The hall
remained closed for a significant period of time due to Covid lockdowns.
During this time work was undertaken to improve the facilities whilst the
hall could not be used by residents.
When restrictions allowed, the hall was reopened following Covid
protocols for hirers who wished to restart their classes. An Easter Trail was
organised and a community event was held at Christmas within Covid
protocols which was appreciated by families in the village.

covering operational, maintenance and event delivery activities.

Operated and maintained the village hall for the benefit of all residents.
Continued delivery of the building modernisation plan.
Organised an Easter Trail around the village woods for families.
Organised a Halloween Party for the local community.
Hosted a Christmas Santa’s Grotto for families.
Maintained revenue opportunities with the Oakworth Lottery. Provision of
party and event services in the first quarter of the year until the first
lockdown.
