The swimming pool has intr(Kluced cold waler swimmiThJ as well as its usual summer months provision which continue to be well used. The Trustees have over recent years appreciated the administration burden on small organisalions within the IOCAI community whtch has added pressure on aladY over-slrel¢hed volunteers. To assist with this the Association offered banking facslitEs. where requ&8ted. lo affiliated members. Details of these are shown in Ihe accounls under Re5trtGted Funds. The Association are ftt nerS of the Communty cent with Inglelon Parish Council who work together d. Main activities undertaken to further thè 1. The sports field was endowed lo the Association by the now defunct Mountain R8ce Cornmittee. The land is now used by Ihe BovAFng Club. the F¢x>tball Club and the Cricket Club There are also facilities in the form of a fflulti4Jse all weather games area for sports activities. The management and day lo day running of this section is overseen by the Swrts Management Commsttee, acting on behalf of The Commiitee. 2. The outdoor swimming pool is leased at a nominal fil from Inglelon Parish Council. This is open lo the public, both l¢xal inhabitants and lourists, from Spring Bank Hgliday to Augusl Bank Holiday each year. The management and the day to day running of Ihis section is overseen by the Swimming Pool Management Cornmitlee, actlng on behalf of The Committee. 3. The Community Centre activities are overseen by the Ingleton Rural cOmUnitY Associationlmanagemenl Committee. acting on behalf of The Committee. The10¢31 Community Centre provides venues lor drama, meelings. indoor sports, dances, discos. exhibitions, conferences. the local libr8ry service, Tourist Information Centre and part time Post Office. It also Provides a facility which has been ar continues to be used as a vaccination ntre involving the local pharmacy and volunteets. Achievements and performance a.
