Jocafest. The music festival held at Welwyn Rugby Club was a major success with 9 bands performing between 2pm and 11pm.

This event is predominantly to raise awareness of mental health in our community, but we do endeavour to make a small profit.

We have many volunteers within our rugby community who helps to make this event the success that it is.

We hold a JOCA charity lunch each year at Welwyn Rugby Club which is always well attended with approx. 100 guests.

This function allows us to further raise awareness of the importance of recognising mental health and well being with or clubs and communities. This also is a good platform to raise funds for counselling.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

We have renewed our website and updated all content www.jocarugby.co.uk We have access to 4 mental health and wellbeing counsellors under our wing; they understand our remit and are very accommodating and flexible with JOCA referrals.

Quarterly Trustee meetings are held and documented, to ensure JOCA keeps momentum by discussing fund raising and awareness events. Joca also have a seat on Welwyn Rugby Clubs monthly committee meetings in which JOCA has a voice on the running and future of the club.

Brief statement of the JOCA Charity reserves are mainly held to support our clients in obtaining charity’s policy on reserves free professional counselling within a 24hr period, with on-going sessions at the recommendation of the counsellor and endorsed by the trustees. Our charity has no monthly high outgoings such as rent or wages, so all of our funds are held as reserves. Details of any funds materially N/A in deficit

Our affiliated clubs have provided funding via “Just Giving” with many individuals’ completing various sponsored activities include marathon, bike rides etc.

We have centralised all funds into one bank account, to ensure spend is in line with the UK Charity Commissions guidelines.

We have also ensured all affiliated clubs sign a terms and conditions document which further outlines all guideline’s set down by the UK charity commission.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF CHARITY "JUST ONE CLICK AWAY " (JOCA) NO 1171634 FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 09 July 2025

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of "Just One Click Away" (JOCA ) for the period ending 09 July 2025 .

Responsibilities and basis of report

As charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act ').

I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act, and carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or

  2. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
