Financial review NOtwithst￿dlng covid restrictions, in the year ending 31 Marth 2022 Ir￿Me had near doubled that in the previous year (£7,587 against £3,848 in FY20f21) - significant was re￿iptS from the resumption of library charges and from sale of goods {£3,497 against £916 in FY20121). Payments in year of £6.453 were £2.7&3 than in FY20f21 - signrficant was £1,547 to purchase window blir¥Js and protective screens. IncoMelexr￿drtUre balanc*4 at year end VRS £128 in surplus. R8spoctlv• rèsponsibilities of trusto08 and gxaminer The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trust88s consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of thè Charities Act 2011 (the Charilies Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounls under s8Ction 145 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission lundgr section 145(5Xbl of the Charities Act, and stal8 whether particular matters have come to my attention.
