ANNUAL REPORT FOR Y/E 31 DECEMBER 2025 Total Receipts for the year were £105.8k with Total Payments £9.4k resulting in a surplus for the year of £96.4k and Total Bank Balances of £326.3k The Receipts included É20k from the Bishops Castle Town Council. £IOk from Priwate Donations, £25.5k from Grants awarded by a number of charitsble 8rant provider5. £2.3k from the Ctrop Community Fund and £31.Ik from the Sparc Charl5 Fund Raising artivities_ In addttion. Gift Aid Claims amounted to £6.7k with Interest earned on Bank Deposits contributing £10.2k. Significant Payments were £3k donated to Theatre activitie5 and £5.4k rclating to Fund Raising expenses. Thc Charity has now raised the requistte tjrget funding of £250k to support the Swimming Pool refurbishment project. This has enabled the appointment of a Project Manager. the triggering of the tenderin8 process and the recent negotiation of contracts which are awaiting signature_ Thc work 15 schcduled to commence in February 2026 alongside a major project to-Decarbonise- the Sparc Leisure Centre. This latter project has been funded by the UK Government with the monies being channelled to Shropshire County Council who own the site. The balance of £76.3k includes a sum of £26.4k which is a sinkin£ fund accumulatin8 to help finance the eventual repair and replacement of the outdoor -all-weather" pitch facility ( often referred to as the "MUGA" or the "Multi-Games Area). A sum of £5k per annum is being added to the Sinkin8 Fund. In addition. a total of £3.9k is earmarked for a number of small projects with the balance of 146.3k being held to help fund the replacement of Theatre Equipment ( Sound Equipment) and the installation of a raking system to cnable the mechanical movement and storage of seating_
