Para 1.18 | MAWS (UK) has a relationship with Botswana-registered charity, Maun Animal Welfare Society - hereafter referred to as MAWS (Botswana). While the two charities share similar objectives, the relationship carries no legal footing or obligation. In 2023, MAWS (UK) provided grants totalling £4,906 to MAWS (Botswana), to assist them with undertaking veterinary care and welfare (including salaries), animal welfare education and conservation within Maun, Botswana. No funds are awarded without the consent of all trustees, or a majority based on an equal voting system. |
