Remodial Work on the Bells of St Mary's Church An awar¢J of £500 was made lo the Bellringers of Sl Mary's Church. The last time work was done on the bells was in 19-70 when one was removed for restoration although no bells will be rwnoved this time. Friend$ of Manning's Pil Campaign During 2020. £158,836 vra5 raised towards the Friends of Manning's Pil Campaign to 'Buy Manning's Pit. for the ¢¢xnmunity. The Out¢omes of the Pending Awards Because of the COMD-19 pandemic the work on the Bells of St Mary's Church ds Postponed and is now expected lo be carried out in 2021. For the same reason. Kai Chappell's trip to Uganda has been postponed. Section E Financial review Brief statement of the charity's policy on reserves The reserves policy of Ihe CIO is to hold a sum equivalent to the loss which might be incued in a worse case of coMpte washout of the Pition Green Man Day, about £8,10. There have been no community awards within or related to Pilton in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Duting 2020, the Friends of Manning's Pit Sub-committee raised £158.836 toward5 the possible purchase of Manning's Pit. However, the majority of this money would have to be refunded to donors rf the ullimate. purchase of the land is unsuccessful.
