| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
This year the Vivekananda Human Centre did not stage any public events, due to concerns relating to public safety resulting from the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. We are then undertaking continuous monitoring and reviews to determine when it is appropriate to hold large- |
| scale indoor events again in the future, in consultation with prospective |
| attendees. At the point that we do so, we will ensure that we are |
| compliant with government recommendations. |
| We are continuing to distribute food in the UK through the Vivekananda |
| Food Bank, and distributed food, winter clothes and educational support |
| in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, as we did last year, to mark the occasion |
| of Durga Puja and Diwali in October and November, the Holy Mother' s |
| Birthday in December, and then in January to mark the Birthday |
| Celebration of Swami Vivekananda, and March to mark the Birthday |
| Celebration of Ramakrishna. |
| We made a donation towards welfare support to the Ramakrishna |
| Mission in Belur Math in India which will go towards assisting the |
| activities ofthe Viveka Tirtha Centre. We will continue to support the |
| initiative ifwe have any surplus funds in future. |
| We maintain a website at htt s://www. vivekanandacentre. com on which |
| we feature all events and information about the work ofthe charity. |
