They assist with form filling and translation support where needed especially for refugees who access food hub. |

Para 1.20 | We transitioned from Covid lock down and enabled families and individuals especially those with special needs and disabilities to overcome anxiety of coming out to engage. We make them aware of activities close to them that they can connect with. We provided social connection activities. They are encouraged to come out to our food hub to pick up food surplus we redistribute We also saw an increased no of individuals/families getting in touch to join to become members and some have become volunteers to give back based on support they received during Lock Down. We have been able to access free training for our volunteers to upskill them and they in turn go into their communities to be provide information on services. We had an increase in donations of food and essentials which we redistributed and signed up to new food redistribution organisations to increase our reach due to increased no of those requiring food top up supplies which included those on working a low income . |
