performance in the local church in Southgate
brought entertainment to local people, outside
our usual area of performance
Pirates of Penzance: Five performances fully
staged with orchestra in an original producton
brought experience of this G&S favourite to
audiences in Poters Bar.
La Vie Parisienne: Fully staged producton with
orchestra brought the only experience of live
light opera to the Wyllyots Theatre in Poters
Bar, providing the opportunity to extend the
appreciaton of this musical form to those new
to thisgenre.

was recorded, very close to break even.

reserve level, in order to ensure fnancial
stability and mitgate against risk . (An
individual producton can incur costs of up to
£30,000). The Society does not aim to make an
overall proft in its operaton, and as already
