Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts Para 1.17 and 1.19 Busy Bods at Ysgol Bodfari is the on-site wrap around care provision for Ysgol Bodfari. It caters for children aged 2 years 3 months and upwards. It has the use of school facilities, including excellent outdoor facilities. The children who attend also take part in school activities, events and celebrations which eases their transition into school at nursery age. Busy Bods provides a playgroup, after-school and holiday care. It provides a facility for children living in a rural area to have access to structured and u nstructured play activities and to socialise and develop friendship groups. It benefits families in the area and strengthens community links in a rural area by providing care facilities enabling parentslcarers to access childcare provision close to home. Other Not applicable Achievements and Performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. Para 1.20 Following establishment in September 2016, Busy Bods at Ysgol Bodfari has continued to provide childcare facilities at the school, proving popular with parents and children who have had good, regular attendance. Children continue to enjoy the freedom to choose play activities and special activities, with Forest School activities now also being offered. They have also been growing plants in preparation for the community garden, including tomatoes, sugar snap peas, cucumbers and peppers. The playgroup has seen increasing numbers attending a setting which fulfils the requirements of pre-school children and prepares them for the Early Years Foundation Phase in Wales. The children benefit from the involvement of the schools Foundation Phase teacher who with the playgroup Leader and the Childcare Assistant collaborate with Denbighshire Local Authority Early Education Team to ensure that the highest quality of care and education is provided. We have also received grant funding which has enabled Busy Bods to provide extra accessibility support, and to offer Forest School. The process of self-evaluation and planning priorities for future development is on-going by the trustees and the childcare leaders.
