Activities

Ospreys in the Community is a charitable foundation that works in close partnership with Ospreys Rugby. Working in conjunction with commercial partners, public sector bodies and third sector agencies to create sustainable support and resources. Our mission is to; Provide, Inspire, Empower and Motivate.

Objects: 8. The Charity’s Objects ("the Objects") Are For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And, In Particular, The Inhabitants Of The Swansea Bay City Region And The Surrounding Areas Of Ospreylia - 8.1. To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities For The Playing Of Rugby Union Football And Other Sports Capable Of Improving Health ("facilities" In This Clause 3 Means Land, Buildings, Equipment And Organising Sporting Activities);8.2. To Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Such Persons Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life, And;8.3. To Advance The Education Of Children And Young People Through Such Means As The Trustees Think Fit In Accordance With The Law Of The Charity;8.4. To Promote The General Purposes Of Such Charitable Bodies Or For Such Other Exclusively Charitable Purposes In Each Case As The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide;8.5. To Promote And Improve The Health And Wellbeing Of Individuals Through Such Means As The Trustees Think Fit In Accordance With The Law Of The Charity.
