period are:-
Fishmoor & Spade Millthe Associations venues
day / evening activities, March to Oct 2020 for
small groups of YP to enjoy paddling and sailing
on water sessions.
Fishmoor Boathouseplanning progressed
slowly during the year for an ambitious project
to provide a new boathouse and secure boat
storage at our Fishmoor venue.
Spade Mill Buildingprogressed again slowly to
improve our existing building at our second
venue at Spade Mill reservoir nr Preston.

Para 1.20 The Associations aim ‘to advance the
education of Young People in all aspects of
watersports’ was achieved by a programme of
events during the year. Our annual programme
of activities include:-
Managing and operating our dedicated water
sports centres atFishmoor(Blackburn) &
Spade Mill(Longridge) reservoirs. These
venues were open between March and Oct for
our members to allow small groups of Young
People (YP) to enjoy water activities e.g.
paddling and sailing.
NewFishmoor Boathousefundraising during
2021/22 did not progress further and remains
at £8,260 to be used towards planning and
building costs.
Spade Mill Buildingimprovement planning
during 2021/22 like Fishmoor took a step
closer with the completion of a new slipway
with the assistance of a£2,000 grant from
Progress Housing.
Waterdayw/e watersports event on Lake
Coniston for 91 YoungPeople.

Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 The Associations Financial audited accounts
financial position at the end (attached), are compliant, the main points are:-

for capital equipment I.e. Laser Fun
Boat, SUP, Buoyancy Aids and Clothing.
