Since April 2018, all volunteers are required to attend safeguarding training and where appropriate, volunteers have also attended first aid and mo'iing and handling training. SignifKant incrnase in service users and diversity of services Our fundraising success and continued communty engagement has enab18(I Ihe charity to fund the developmen{ implementstion and delivery of new online and telephone serVi￿S that enable existing and r￿W service users to a￿esS as many services as posstble. The o)nlinuation and extension of the seThices introduced last year have resulted in a further nc¥ease in new service users growing from 155 to 197 durirvJ 2022. It is anticipated that this service will grow and develop now we no longer have so many restnctions regarding face to facA meetings. line support groups- a ￿ordinatOr for Online groups was also employed in March 2022 and this enablad mor8 online services to be added to the regular chat groups, induding the introducts'on of a range of spectfic interest online groups e.g craftirvJ, sealed thair exercises, meditation, general interest talks Tablet Loan Scheme - enabling peopl8 to access'the intem8t, Communi￿te with loved ones and join in with our online groups by providing a tablet and access to wtfi (for free) Loig Covid- this service was muth in demand as the county moved from being in Ihe grip of the pandemic to recovering from it.
