Section D Achievements and performance
We managed to have a successful season in terms of participation levels. Summary of the main We had an increase in female participation and more colts cricketers achievements of the charity representing Bedfordshire county. Our Saturday mens cricket teams both during the year achieved back to back promotion by winning their respective divisions. 2022 also saw us consolidate all our Sunday teams in their respective divisions. All of our colts team made their finals day by winning their regional league.

My e x amination was carried out in accordance with gen e ral Directions given by th e Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the acco u nting records kept by the charity and a comparis o n of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consider a tion of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking expl a nations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedure s undertaken do not provi d e all the evidence that would be required in an a u dit, and cons e quently no opinion is given as to whether the acc u nts present a ‘true and f a ir’ view and the report is limited to those matters s e t out in the state m ent below.

In co n nection with my examination, no material matters h ave come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any m aterial respect,: the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

the accounts did not accord with the accounting r e cords; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable r equirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other t h an any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view whic h is not a matter considered as part of an independent examinati o n.
