Independent examiner's report on the accounts
Section A Independent Examiner’s Report
Report to the trustees/ Charity Na m e Lutonia n Cricket Club members of On accounts for the 31[st] Dec e mber 2021 period ended Set out on pages 1 to 2
Charity no 1169195 (if any)
(remember to include the page n umbers of additional sheets)
Respective The cha r ity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. responsibilities of The cha r ity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year trustees and examiner under s e ction 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Chariti e s Act) and that an indepen d ent examination is needed. It is my r esponsibility to:
-
exa m ine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
-
to fo l low the procedures laid down in the general Di r ections given by the Cha r ity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and
-
to st a te whether particular matters have come to m y attention.
Basis of independent My exa m ination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts present e d with those records. It also includes consider a tion of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide a ll the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the acc o unts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters s et out in the stateme n t below.
Independent examiner's statement
-
In conn e ction with my examination, no material matters have come to my attentio n which gives me cause to believe that in, any m aterial respect,: the accounting records were not kept in accorda n ce with section 130 o f the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting r ecords; or the accounts did not comply with the applicable r e quirements c o ncerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities ( A ccounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other t han any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view whic h is not a matter c o nsidered as part of an independent examinati o n.
I have h a ve come across no other matters in connectio n with the examin a tion to which attention should be drawn in this r eport in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be re a ched.
