The objects of the CIO are to establish and run avillagehall and to
promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of East
Pennard the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time
occupation and with the object of improving the conditions of life of
the said inhabitants.

In 2021, EPVH was only able to hold a fund-raising event at the
end of the year due to Covid restrictions. Covid also restricted the
ability to Hire out the Hall. The AGM was able to be held in
November but otherwise the Village Hall was effectively closed.
When Lockdown eased, the opportunity was taken to upgrade some
of the electrical facilities. The decision was taken to carry out work to
repair the roof and decorate the interior in the early part of 2022.
Any surplus funds which are not likely to be needed for day to day
expenditure are placed in on Deposit to earn interest.

2 Trustee meetings were held.
Hall Lettings:
2 lettings were achieved.
Activities:
None, Covid restrictions and the decision to redecorate curtailed
these plans.
Talks:
No Talks or similar were able to be heldbecause of Covid
Fundraising:
A Summer Fair and Coffee morning was held in August.
Maintenance:
Annual service Fire equipment and Smoke Alarms.
A general tidy up of the external hall, (Leaves, overgrown
branches etc.), was undertaken by local residents.
