The Church Counal, worklng aloryaskle the Mlnister for Pastoral Care, act as the Managing Trustees and meet at least 3 times a year to oversee the work and mlsslon of the church. There are su groups that concentrate on particular a$. these are Stewards. Finance, Property. Worship & Prayer. Pastoral and Displav. Many of the congregation remained at home enjoying the new on-llne services, or receiviTrd written ones if not able to use the internet. The Ripon & Lower Dales Circuit kindly refunded part of the Assessment, which the Church Coundl deoded to gift to the smaller thurd5 of our Section. who had struggled much more than ours durIa the pandemic By summer. more people were receiviryd Vacdnations and therefore more confident to attend churth in person, whith meant opportunltles to meel and talk and offer better pastoral care. The Trustees made preparations for the building to be open for events from the start of the next financial year, keen to reach out to support local businesses. social and leisure 8roups wl)o had not been able to use the premise& With the generosity of our rnembers the income for the year matched the expenditure1£62.230} leaving us in a healthy position wtth £15.1)Xl in reserve to move forward with mission plans of readiing into the community by offering new ventures and outreath. beginning with Open Churth on Tuesdays from September 2021. This will offer chat. care and fellowship over coffee, with time for private prayer and optional worship time.
