Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the period 1.4.24-31.3.25 the charity maintained Manor Fields – arranging for grass mowing, hedge cutting, and long grass cutting and removal. The trees were regularly monitored and work done where required by a qualified tree surgeon. A bench and two animal carvings were erected in one of the copses on the fields in late summer. Two working parties were held - one in the autumn to tackle brambles and ensure french drains were kept in good condition, the second in the spring of 2025 to prune apple trees. |

Para 1.21 | In this period, although payments exceeded receipts we had enough reserve to retain a healthy financial balance. |
| Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held |
Para 1.22 | Our policy is that our reserve should be at least double our annual expenditure ie to have two years’ outgoings in reserve. The amount needed for this is kept under review as annual expenditure changes. |
| Amount of reserves held | Para 1.22 | Our annual expenditure is currently around £1,500, therefore we keep a minimum of £3,000 as a reserve to cover variations in income. |
