Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	During the period 1.4.23-31.3.24 the charity maintained Manor Fields – arranging for grass mowing, hedge cutting, and long grass cutting and removal. The trees were regularly monitored and work done where required by a qualified tree surgeon. A working party was held in January to prune fruit trees on the fields, and to clear debris from a french drain to ensure that path areas remained dry and accessibility for the public was maintained.

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	In this period, receipts exceeded payments, and the year ended with a healthy financial balance.
Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held	Para 1.22	Our policy is that our reserve should be at least double our annual expenditure ie to have two years’ outgoings in reserve. The amount needed for this is kept under review as annual expenditure changes.
