Organising an annual Folk Festival in Kimpton in July;Maintaining Folk Sessions each month in Kimpton and Wheathampstead;Organising 50-minute 'Pop-Up' concerts in Kimpton during autumn and winter to further generate interest in folk music;Launching an outreach programme to foster increased interesting and understanding of folk music in local schools.
Objects: (a) To Advance, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In And Appreciation Of The Art And Science Of Music (and In Particular Folk Music) By Such Means As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion Shall Think Fit, Including The Presentation Of Festivals, Public Concerts And Recitals; And (b) By Making Grants Or Donations To Further Such Other Objects Or Purposes In Kimpton And The Surrounding Area As Are Exclusively Charitable In Accordance With The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion Shall Think Fit.
