| Contribution made by volunteers | Volunteers have continued to contribute towards raising awareness of JSCN and with the development of the heritage project. This was with the support of existing 8 volunteers, no new volunteers were recruited in the period. |
| Achievement and Performance | JSCN had a successful year, despite the pandemic. Engagement with individuals and communities increased further, building on the previous year’s success. Our various projects concluded with equally high degrees of success, and we broke new ground with our first national event. We established strong network and working connections with similar organisations and community professionals, in the UK and internationally. And we made great strides in structuring our organisation and establishing a path to build its capacity. Our benefactors donated again this year, some without being approached. Our supporters responded to an appeal ensuring that we received a grant from the Ecclesiastical insurance company. We succeeded in gaining Lottery/HMGov Covid Emergency funding. |

We received financial support for prof development from YESOD to attend training seminars… Theory of Change, Strategy, Bid Writing, Fundraising. ONE Shabbat. 3,500 people took part in the first national event that JSCN has organised. They came together through different types of events, held over Shabbat 4th& 5thSeptember 2021. Goodie bags, to enhance the Shabbat dinner table, were distributed by post to individuals and in bulk via communities. A musical Kabbalat Shabbat service took place online, as did a Havdalah service live form Israel. During Shabbat, ONE Shabbat themed sermons and kiddushim were organised by communities. The cost of packs, printing and postage was supported by sponsorship from several organisations. Unsolicited feedback and responses to an evaluation survey reported a very high satisfaction rate. 100% said they would recommend that friends and family take part in future ONE Shabbat events.
