Section D Achievements and performance
The biggest event we had in the year was a donation of £250,000 to the Summary of the main East Lancs NHS trust for the purchase of a state of the art Olympus achievements of the charity Endosonographic machine. That is used to both detect and take biopsy during the year samples in ultra high resolution. Additionally the machine is semi-mobile and can be relocated to where it is needed in the hospital setting eg operating theatre, A+E dept. We have had fantastic feedback already on the numbers of patients they have been able to help diagnose already.

Responsibilities and basis of report
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 30/ 04 / 2024 .
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
