Section D Achievements and performance March **2012** **TAR** 4 ## Section D Achievements and performance The biggest event we had in the year was a donation of £250,000 to the **Summary of the main** East Lancs NHS trust for the purchase of a state of the art Olympus **achievements of the charity** Endosonographic machine. That is used to both detect and take biopsy **during the year** samples in ultra high resolution. Additionally the machine is semi-mobile and can be relocated to where it is needed in the hospital setting eg operating theatre, A+E dept.
