| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | We took in 8 captive bred birds this year These came from homes where they could no longer be looked after. We rescued 10 wild owls of which 6 (60%) were nursed back to health and released back into the wild. They were released as near as safely possible to the place they were found. Some were too badly injured so did not survive. We only gave 1 talk to a college and 1 birthday party this year. Due to covid restrictions we were not allowed to visit. We were also closed due to lockdown for a long period during this financial period. We continuing to improve the site for our visitors and the Owls. We do not perform flying displays with our birds. |
