Para 1.20 | 2020- 2021:7th edition/year of donation of stationeries. We are now helping schools from north to south of Senegal (not only in Medina). - We offered the stationery to 5500 students registered in 16 schools. More than 50,000 notebooks and pens have been offered. We have had the support of the manager of national basket team of Senegal and the entire team. - The partnership with the national school dedicated to disabled children is being developed very well. We sponsored 12 disabled kids as they could not afford to pay schools feed and transport. With our dedicated sponsorship program, we have been able to convince few more donor. Following our actions, each donor received a certificate showing the name of the disable kid that they sponsored, their level, and what the disability is about. The certificate has been signed **by both the charity and the director of ** |

the schools. They recognised our continuous effort over the past years and agreed for our charity to be an ambassador of those disabled kids. We also offered wheelchairs, stationeries and others equipment. - In addition to the donation have a sponsoring program dedicated to nondisabled children. They are the top one from the 16 schools that we support. We have increased the number from 22 top students to 33, they all coming from the 16 primary public schools that we support. Each student received the equivalent of EUR 100 to cover their scholarship fees and stationaries for the next level after the primary school’s final exam (secondary schools). With the sponsoring program, we are getting very close to the family, and we need to share with the sponsor, all exam’s results from the student. If the student is not performing as expected, we will try to understand the root cause and speak to their parent to ensure they can progress. We renew the sponsoring fees only if the student managed to get a minimum of 12/10 at the end of the year. A contract is signed between the charity, the family and the sponsor to ensure the relation goes smoothly. - we still have 3 local online newspaper companies, that published most of our actions for a better visibility. They are called, Medina TV, Dak Medina and Medina Actu. - we have ad few tv show that are available on youtube - we have donated printer, and projector to few schools - we renewed the partnership with the international company named BIC. They produce mainly pens, and all the pens we donated was bought from them with a very competitive price. - Our charity t-shirt has been advertised one more time by the Senegalese national football and basket team. - we organised the 3[rd] edition of mathematic and poetry competition across 8 schools. The top 3 student have been gifted with tablet, laptop and book. - we have a specific program to go green. This project is call ECOBRIQUE. To do so we are partnering with an NGO named BIOFORCE. We the help of the NGO team, we asked to the children from 3 schools to find any plastic bag

from the floor and put them in a plastic bottle. Once the bottle is full of plastic bac our engineer can turn them into bench. Financial Review
| Financial Review | ||
|---|---|---|
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | At the end of each period, the trustees will review all the expense and income, analyse and understand the time of the year where income are higher and take strategic decision to limit the charity financial cost. We have now built an internal dashboard which allow quick decision making. The dashboard helps us to understand what activity cost us more, why, and when (which month) do we spend more money out, do we receive more money in. All financial documents are available to all charity trustees via a shared drive that is accessible online. Our accounting team who validate all expenses will present to the trustees the financial situation during the monthly charity meeting. This is how we manage the progress of our fundraising to ensure we will have enough money to cover all our donation. |
| Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held |
Para 1.22 | All decisions are always being based on data driven analysis, discussed and agreed to ensure the charity will follow the right direction. we started with one school in 2015, and we are now helping 16 schools. Most of the schools were in the same area, in the capital but actions are now expanded to others areas of the countries. Our target for 2025, is to help at least one school in each region of the country. We are targeting a national **coverage. ** |
